Ofunneka Anyanwu
Counsellor
Ofunneka’s focus (or ‘O’ as she prefers to be called) is in helping individuals heal, energise and become aware of their inner strengths. She achieves those objectives by providing a neutral safe space, listening to her clients’ concerns and customising a counselling plan with her clients to drive this process forward.
A passionate advocate for social justice and a voice for the marginalised and vulnerable, O particularly enjoys working with members of the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community.
She supports women (mums) who are finding it hard to connect with their teenagers, assisting them in managing their stress in their various roles be it as a mother, wife or employee.
O also enjoys working with young children and young adults with difficulties in meeting life’s challenges, and adolescents who present with anxiety, depression, self-harming, self-esteem issues, social skills, bullying, and family conflict.
O is an outgoing, fun-loving individual, who loves spending time with family and friends. She recognises and has a deep appreciation in the exchange of sharing her experience with her clients whilst also learning from them.
O lives in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
